During a recent visit to family, I found an old elevator that had a nice warm but aggressive starting sound. As I always carry my recorder while traveling, I went back to capture it. Luckily, no one saw the crazy person going up and down π

In our audio-game πππͺπ―π₯ ππ’π΅πΆπ³π¦, we put a large effort in recognizing surface types (grass, bushes, rivers) from sound.
With the help of @rainlefever.bsky.social, our main character Liora now narrates the surface that she walks on!

With Mafia: The Old Country coming out last month I thought it was a good excuse to get into the franchise. I'm a few hours in and here's a small #gameaudio detail that I loved. When you drive into a tunnel the radio signal will go bad about halfway in and it will stabilize again when you get out.
Last week I visited 'Feel the Sound' an exhibition at the Barbican in London.
I love an interactive exhibition and it was great to experience sound in its different forms.
How come nobody talks about how similar Beyond: Two Souls and Stranger Things are π€― Played the game recently for the first time and it felt like I'm playing eleven. (Nice game btw) (pic found on reddit)

Hi Max, game jams are a good way to find people to cooperate with. The one I'm using on this video is a sample project from Epic Games. I'm not sure how to find film projects though.

Very happy to have participated in #ludumdare57 game jam! It was great to collaborate with new people and trying new ideas. My favourite thing was the wobbly boss. Was really fun to record myself doing weird voices and processing it.
