This is why I support @avilewis.ca for NDP who is already stating this and I believe would continue to state this in Parliament if he’s elected for NDP. Canadian’s need a strong left opposition right now in Canada to have other voices heard.

I wrote to my conservative MP who I would never vote for in my life today. Why? Because she has a duty to represent my values in parliament as her constituent. I hope Tamara Jansen rep from Cloverdale-Langley brings this up in Parliament and I hope more people speak out to their local MP’s. Email

Canadians need to start speaking up to @pmcarney.bsky.social & the liberal party. We can respect someone and like that he can speak well and like him more than the alternative but Millennials & younger don’t want this! We are a parliament & the liberals are a minority government. Say no to this war.

Hi it’s #kidlitartpostcard day again.
Here we have Clark Barkson enjoying a day at the museum.

I can picture a very focused and determined child on the cover very focused on a project with a lot of charts and plans in the background with timelines, appropriate type font use and when to use it and of course spacing too.

It sounds like a children’s book title

All I could keep saying was “they have a duck restaurant” but “they have a goose restaurant” my inner Munsch child was exploding!!!!

I also love the turtle population there. And I love when the geese return.

At Burnaby Heritage Hart House I have this dream of wanting them with to host A Robert Munsch inspired Swamp Day. I think it would be much fun. I had made a mock colouring page after a Mother’s Day Brunch there 2 years ago 😅

Oh that makes sense. Sad about the birds but better safe than sorry

Definitely not climbing up Burnaby Mountain up to SFU anymore with a kid on my back and with my dog and running into the wildlife there :)

I also totally understand not travelling as much. I’m still able bodied and much more so now that my biologics(infusions) are working a lot better now but I still get wiped out easily. I stick pretty close to home :)

I’ve lived so many places in the lower mainland though. I never thought I would end up in Surrey but I love it

That’s funny not everything else you said but I used to live in Burnaby and now in Surrey for last 10 years to be exact

I have to post the picture my son took of one of the Barred Owls who was checking him out in one of the pocket forests by our house. He was on a “scouting” bike ride in the neighbourhood. Scouting for what I won’t say.
