Artwork from the official A Link to the Past strategy guide. It shows Link kneeling to pray to Jesus on the Cross inside of Church.
Christianity was a thing for the first 2 games (and early artwork of alttp). Japanese artists just use it for western themed stuff because it fits the vibe they're going for which is why Zelda 1 has a bible item and a cross on the shield. Anyways here is official alttp artwork:
This is a large pixel art piece that is a crossover between the Super Mario Bros franchise and One Piece. The going merry has been shrunk down and now has a Yoshi head as the figurehead with Mario at the front of the ship, he is dressed as Luffy in an excited pose ready for adventure. Toad has elements of Tony Tony Chopper and is fishing a giant Cheep Cheep. There is also a Goonie bird from Yoshi Island dressed as a the News Coo.

Grace: what?! no!!! Leon, walking away concerned: "oh... well, good luck anyway" Grace looks very sad and pathetic

It's usually cropped which sucks.
I really need a bluray one of these but they're so expensive.
Yeah in the early Mario and Zelda games they would drown realistically and just float up lifelessly for a few seconds
That sounds great. I need more video games to be video gsmes. Tbh.
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link βοΈβ¨π‘οΈ
I really like 80s fantasy anime posters, and I wanted to make one for Zelda II :)
This style is pretty fun to draw and colour!

OK, here's my "the (English) Pokemon PokΓ©mon game for the Nintendo Switch system" cursory analysis.
First of all, I dumped the game to immediately discover the most sad romfs ever:
This is the first fakemon I ever seen that if someone snuck into a romhack or something I wouldn't 2nd guess it at all
Them ending it is crazy I thought it was gonna be the next family guy.
Only thing that will come out of this is modders modding the models into other games.
Ah yes the game that existed just as an excuse to design and model FF characters in modern day clothes.
Zelda 2 sold millions and there are plenty of fans of it (it's in my top 3 Zelda games) it has its issues but it's fun as hell to get good at
But yeah I was so tired of the hard dread bosses that I quit the game the moment I reached 100% of map completion. Got what I wanted out of it.
Castlevania works a lot better for me because the minute to minute gameplay is the same as the boss fights so you actually learn the mechanics while you're playing the game instead of throwing yourself at a brick wall.
My hot take is I like to play Metroid for the fun overworld and the boss fights are basically playing an entirely different game and I absolutely hate it. It goes from enemies moving left and right to full blown silk song boss fights. I'll take shinespark puzzles over bosses any day.
Old enough to remember the movie existing and have seen it. Young enough to not remember what this was until I googled it.
For the Kirby collab! #kirbyredrawn @retroredrawn.bsky.social
Berwick is classic fire emblem by its original creator. Sequel to TearRing saga which Nintendo tried to sue him for lmao.
I mean alttp literally has a church and a priest in it. But it is also the first game to bring up the goddesses.
Generic girl boss is just how Sega writes her nowadays.
The cool thing about the sm64 ripple is that it's actually 3d. The portal to hazy maze cave and dire dire docks is just using the portal effect but always on
A dogs life sequel but GameCube this time
