I don’t have a huge audience on Bluesky yet, but if you could share this post, it’d help me find my boardgamers, wargamers, and all the overall rad folks out there. I’d really appreciate it! 😈🤘

If golems get smashed around your table this Xmas, grab a few pics. Seeing those moments pop up with your reviews brings me a ton of joy!
Wishing you a Merry Christmas filled with family, games, and good chaos! 😈🎄
🔥 The Battle Box returns tomorrow at 10am CST after a full year of being sold out!
The all-new Big Battle Map launches too, plus some new bundles.
Really excited to share it all with you tomorrow!

It was a special game mode/ruleset I created that turned the core game into a rank and flank big battle wargame. It was designed to keep the game fast paced at 8 players with 6 lbs of clay 😆
Hoping to release it after some more playtesting!
Thanks!! Yeah I created them specifically for this event! It took a bit of prototyping to get the trays and tools designed just right. They are what the game mode is designed around, and allows for pretty quick and streamlined gaming.
The booth is already booked for Gen Con 2026. See you again next year!
I love how much positivity and joy there is in seeing gamers be themselves and celebrate our hobby. Meeting people who are genuinely excited about your work is incredibly inspiring. And it helps balance out the constant challenges on the “business” side of being a game designer and publisher.
This was also my first year running events at Gen Con. Since tariffs delayed our 2025 plans, I put that energy into designing an exclusive 8-player Necromolds Mega Battle. It featured custom rank 'n flank rules, custom tools, and gave each team 3 lbs of clay to mold up to 80 golems!
It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces, especially those who have supported us since our very first campaign in 2019. We also met plenty of new players eager to try the game ahead of our October reprint. I can’t share details yet, but we have exciting new things planned for 2026 too.
Finally taking a moment to celebrate what an amazing time I had at Gen 2025!
This year I was lucky enough to have Kenny, Zane, and Thad at the booth with me. Each played a huge role in Necromolds, and without them I would have lost my voice by Sunday.

Molded this rad red/purple swirled magmas at #GenCon! Might be my favorite color combo yet 🔥😈

Kindercasters are always the most generous with artifacts and wounds 😈🔥
These golems never stood a chance!

It was a fun first day at Gen Con! Thanks everyone who had a chance to stop by and say hi 🤘😈
We’ll be at booth 2339 all weekend!
Restock of the battle box doesn’t land until October, but we have a few monster packs and call to arms expansions left for tomorrow.

One of our players shared that their son (7 yo) has started getting into mini painting with Necromolds! 🎨💯
Their Graveghoul turned out awesome!

When you’re in the middle of something as challenging as navigating the current tariff and trade situation to keep everything going, seeing a review like this is reminder of how much joy our hobby brings to families!

"This game really was amazing, from my mom to my dad to even my grandmother. It was a great and fun experience for everyone!"
A recent review left on our site (thanks, Logan!).
Me too! 😓 check out my latest bsky post. Basically, we're stuck waiting for the US tariff situation to resolve so we can complete manufacturing and import our restock!
P.S. If you're waiting for the reprint, be sure to sign up for our email alert so you don't miss it! form.jotform.com/242985252381...
The game was built by creativity and community, and those are the things that will carry us through, even if we need to wait a little longer.
Plus, I've got new Necromolds projects in the works, and I can't wait to share what's next when the time is right!

I just want to express how thankful I am for having the chance to bring this game to life. And more recently, to everyone who's ordered from our site over the last two months.
To be honest, it's been tough to get into a creative flow while trying to address and stay on top of these new challenges.
Necromolds is about as indie as a publisher can get, and we're only here because of your support. But even at our small size, the ripple effect of our next print being frozen is huge. Not just for myself, but for everyone involved: artists, writers, warehouses, fulfillment partners, and more.
At the start of the year, I was exploring ways we could expand the game into more retailers and distribution, working hard with our partners to make the margins and costs line up. The first round of tariffs wiped out those months of work. The additional tariffs made the reprint numbers impossible.
I'm extremely excited for this 3rd print of Necromolds and for the new stuff we're releasing alongside it.
But like many publishers, we were deep into the manufacturing process and now find ourselves frozen, waiting for economic stability and viability to return before we can import our games.
Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to share a bit about Necromolds with Behind the Board!
In the interview, I talked about many different aspects of the game. Everything from early design decisions to the challenges of getting it made.

We’ve got our third printing coming this summer, along with new content for those hungry for more. And I’m deep in playtesting for even more content coming next year.
Thanks again for making AdeptiCon 2025 unforgettable. I can’t wait to show off all the rad stuff we’ve got in the works!
Conventions like this are such a powerful reminder of why I make games. Knowing that Necromolds is becoming part of people’s childhood memories is a real reward. Along with the opportunity to meet and hangout with such amazing creators!
My only regret is that I never have time to take photos or wander the floor! I’m behind the booth non-stop, sharing the game with as many people as I can. Somehow I made it through the final day with a little voice left!
