I'm my experience, Yuba bikes have the longest long-tail. (Having owned Xtracycle, Yuba and now Tern cargo bikes). I carried two kids on cargo bikes until the older finished 8th grade (and younger finished 6th). Now I'm down to just one for drop-off, and he's going to high school next year.
