The lighter side is the wrong side (image 2). You can see a bit of odd texture at the selvedge area on it which is a clue too.

Just wanted to say like so many others how much I enjoyed Emmrich's character. One of those 'must run in to his room first to see what new things he has to say, difficult to not romance on every playthrough' kind of characters <3
