tbh this isn’t limited to digimon either, I always struggle immensely to make designs for myself because I’ll just keep tweaking them forever and ever and ever… it took me actual *years* to even settle on Memo’s design, the fact that he’s hardly changed at all is a feat itself lol

in my free time lately I’ve been tinkering with fan Digimon again to help keep my sanity, I’ve been revisiting my catfish Digimon and I can always tell when I’m really into a design by how many iterations I make/how many slightly-different color palettes I shuffle between
