This was my first attempt at growing cactus seeds, and based on my research, I wanted to be extra cautious, so I decided to sterilize the soil, the pot, and then I used 2% hydrogen peroxide.

3 months in with my Copiapoa seedlings! Started with 11, now down to 7—lost a few along the way, but that’s part of the journey. One was grafted, so we’ll see how that one takes off! 🌵✨

Where did you order these from?

No problem! I keep the heat mat set to 88°F 24/7 during the fall and winter here in LA. In the spring and summer, I lower it to about 75°F. This is my first time growing cactus seeds so I’m learning as I go.

I plugged in my shelf dimensions into chat GPT to find the right light setup. I'm using 4 Barrina 5000k white grow lights bars and a heating mat. You can see it at the end of my video. bsky.app/profile/casa...
