Fascinating, a friend works with a company that matches bilingual lawyers in LATAM to work remotely as paralegals and assistants for US law firms. They make more than local lawyers but are cheaper than US paralegals.
Is there a reason why this doesn't happen in Canada even when all of our universities are public? And I don't buy that we're more enlightened, why hasn't Doug Ford messed with U of T (Or Smith and Moe with their own provincial unis) in the way US states have done with theirs?
