We thank @aoc.bsky.social for speaking the truth about age verification in the House E&C hearing today! As she stated plainly, and we agree, age verification is a smoke-screen for censorship. It is NOT about kids safety!

So what do we do now? We stay loud.

Since July, more than a dozen pregnant children have been moved to a single facility in the small town of San Benito, along the south Texas border. The children kept in Texas are as young as 13, and about half are pregnant because of rape.

Reactionary living is not good for us. Without realizing it, I lived that way for decades and have created a lot of problems for myself and those I care about. I hope, as a society, we can all step back and find ways to break out of this before more needless pain and problems happen.
