All of us volcanoes hang out in Iceland, not Greenland!

It's just three very basic little Icelandic words!

I heard Eyjafjallajökull muttering something about sending some ash toward Greenland to prevent someone from being able to travel there.....

Is that...normal?

I bet they think exploding is harder!
I'm sure they haven't thought about all the energy and magma it takes to keep something effusive going.

Setting up for and running a fissure eruption is hard work!

Eyjafjallajökull showed me a list of volcano movies because he was in a few of them, so there has to be a list of other geology movies and books somewhere, right?

Ooh right, I wasn't thinking about how it must be harder to get that going when you're at a convergent boundary with crustal thickening!
(To be fair, I sometimes forget about my own, since Svartsengi and Krýsuvík make more than enough heat to share.)

A magma intrusion under the ice can help...

We can have a good time erupting without kicking anyone!

Hopefully Svartsengi will stop hogging all the bandwith this year!
