Happy birthday!
Happy birthday!
"Divination in Ancient Greece III - The Earth and The Dead" - only available in Czech I'm afraid.
I've been reading a scholarly book on ancient divination and believe it or not, using necromancy as an excuse for war is not a new idea - even if the ghost is a bit more high definition these days.
I've been reading both old and new "Savage Sword of Conan" and I gotta say - Rob de La Torre's artwork in the new Titan Comics Conan stuff is among the best I've seen. Has that classic feel, but I like his style the most. (Barry Windsor-Smith being my least favourite so far)
Noooooo! The Dorohedoro S02 trailer released early and they took the video down!
I wanna see. :(
And then the tomb raiders get on a steamboat and a mutant carp as big as the ship attacks them. And that's fine, because the subtitles call it by a taxonomically correct name of a real animal. So that's just the real animal, totally.
I watch a lot of tomb raiding dramas. The older ones had unexplained ancient zombies in them, even fisticuffs with zombies. And as time went on, the zombies became...creative. Large river clams living in and controlling dead bodies. Meteorite-induced hallucinations. Lots of hallucinations overall.
Challenge: gargle my balls, dipshit.
Same pool of inspiration MnB came from then, I think.
This is a ridiculous Glorious-Nippon-steel-folded-thousands-of-times type argument. Like...come on, maybe they're just people in the current day. Would you argue the Greeks must be extremely proficient at laser warfare because of fucking Archimedes? A rebuttal to racism isn't....whatever this is.
It looks like those who get the combat despite poor tutorialization and break through the early bits tend to have fun and "get" what the game is going for.
We need to make sure that's a larger percentage of players. Simple! :))
Thank you for being kind in your Kromlech reviews (or not posting negative ones).
We are actively addressing the early difficulty issues and performance at the moment. (more/better tutorial, loot drops and more)
Reviews are not going great in general, but we're doing what we can.

My highest of recommends for this game -- and a little drawing inspired by it! โค๏ธโ๐ฅ

Jan's art for KROMLECH is incredibly cool and inspiring, and this team could use some eyes on the game during its early access ๐
I now have an Artyom drawing of our dumb little game.
*dream fulfilled*
At last, it's time to eat!
And apparently we'll be doing a developer stream playing the game and answering questions in roughly 50 minutes!

And it's a complete coincidence! :D Shame we didn't have time to work out a co-promotion thing, BARBARIAN THURSDAY or something.
Kromlech is a (Welsh? I think) word for a circle of standing stones. :)
Do yourself a favour - play this game and buy the soundtrack.
These are so great! Incredibly memorable, I would recognize this game anywhere. And the soundtrack is just sublime, I listen to it quite often.

me today:
It's not really meant to be defensive, even the gate doesn't have a door. It's a palace complex in a larger settlement that does have walls with platforms on the inside.
You can wishlist Kromlech on Steam, it's coming to Early Access in March: store.steampowered.com/app/2406680/...
Another early Kromlech concept - the camp site. Originally resting was much more involved, with its own in-game scene depicting Cronach cooking food, drying herbs, griding warpaint etc. I'd still love to do that - a nice change from all the fighting, but it might not fit into the pace of gameplay.
A concept for a Kromlech location that's not accessible in the EA release build, and might look completely different in the final version. We did lots of exploration for this (this is V03), but this is the one I personally liked the best. I don't do a lot of enviro concepts, this was fun.,
More weapons for Kromlech - this time for the bronze age Barrow Folk. (who tend to rise from their unquiet burial mounds lately) Again, lots of real world stuff in there.
