In only 3 days, the next painting session is planned. Not only did the motors change, but also the gondola got a huge upgrade. Now the gondola rotates around the spray cap to eliminate a source of distortion. Also stencils and a waste tank have been added for finer lines. #dot-bot #robot #art #maker

The next big step in the #DOT-BOT journey are improved stepper controller PCBs. The new optional support for closed loop stepper motors will allow us to move the #spraycan much more agressively, without ever loosing steps! Approximately 20k lines of code later and now my 100% custom wallplotter can draw any complex shape in a continous motion. The optimisation was nessesary to have a constant color application when using csns with spray paint. #arduino #esp32 #maker #3dprinting #esp32 #art #diy #kicad #tech

I just designed an optional and alternative layout for my #opensource #esp32 Electronic Kalimba project. Since the lower PCB contains all of the electronics, the upper PCB can be replaced in seconds to a different layout. A keyboard arrangement was the most requested layout so far 🎹🎹 😁 #maker #kicad

Ich nehme mein Fahrrad tatsächlich oft nicht, da ich es extrem ungern draußen stehen lasse. Heute ging es nicht anders, dann müssen halt 2 dicke Schlösser mit und den Akku lass ich auch nicht am Rad... Mir wurde in Berlin schon ein mittelgutes Fahrrad im Innenhof geklaut, es hatte auch 2 Schlösser:(

Here is a WIP of my latest project, my E. Kalimba V3.0. It is a sandwich of two custom (hand solderable) PCBs, with 80 tactile buttons and lots of other stuff going on. Powered by an ESP32 controller, dual analog wave generators, battery powered, programmed with Arduino and everything open source.
