Once, a stranger asked me what Katie was short for. I told them that it wasn't short for anything; my birth name is just Katie. She looked me dead in the eye and said "no, it's not." The sheer audacity and unearned confidence had me rolling. I think of her often.

That's so cool!! Have you ever been? We were exiled from the isles after the Jacobite rebellions so it's my goal to make it back someday ☺️

It's so fascinating!! I'm lucky, because I'm descended from Lady MacBeth - so her genealogy and the Scottish/Irish royal lines are pretty well-documented.

Imagine the level of self control it is taking me to not IMMEDIATELY ask that 😅

One of the coolest parts of descending from royalty is being able to trace your heritage back 3,000 years via casual web sleuthing. Obviously a more serious effort will be required to securely verify everything, but it's awesome nonetheless!

I always giggle when I see him on The Good Place or hear him on Bob's Burgers ☺️
