I replayed it when the remaster came out a few years ago. It felt more linear and streamlined. Those who made the Alan Wake sections in AW2 clearly were smoking something lol
I would’ve taken more of the FBI section. The Lake House DLC was great. But it was such a wild change from the first game that I adored

3rd game finished of 2026: Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum. This game has some of, if not, the worst level design if all time. That’s about 2 hours of my life I won’t get back.
2nd game finished of 2026; Mindseye. After finishing the game, I don’t get the hate. It was a really fun, intense game. Didn’t experience any issues or bugs. Easy Platinum too

1st game finished of 2026: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Amazing game. Loved it from start to finish. Except the annoying final boss. Highly recommended
50th game finished of 2025: Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. Overall decent game bogged down by shitty maps/dungeons and difficulty spike in the final boss marathon
49th game finished of 2025: Digital Devil Saga 2. Hadn’t finished this in close to 20 years. Was about time I replayed. Still a masterpiece
48th game finished of 2025: Psycho Dream. I swear to god the final level was designed to break controllers. Aside from that, decent game
47th game finished of 2025: Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne HD Remaster. Finally finished it on Switch. Still my personal favorite game of all time

They are. But you move at a snail’s pace. You can’t run and move insanely slow. Sliding makes you go “faster” but there were instances where I couldn’t dodge
45th game finished of 2025: Deathwish Enforcers. Great concept. Could’ve been one of the best games I’ve played, but the characters move way too slow compared to enemies and their projectiles. Still somewhat enjoyable. Paid it 6$ on sale. Asking 30$ for this is criminal

42nd game finished of 2025: Silent Hill f. 100% certified dogshit. As cliché as it sounds, this doesn’t feel or play like a Silent Hill game. Annoying Soulslike inspired/lite combat. Subpar soundtrack. Overhyped story. Guess that’s what happens when you prostitute a beloved IP.
