There are so few statues of women, now a committee has identified 100 women, who should have a statue.
In my home town Roskilde there are 2 statues of women - Queen Margrethe 1 on a horse and the author Lise Nørgarrd, but this is unusual, normally statues are of men!

Graph of Danish emission from 2020 to 2045, with climate targets:

2030: 70% (on track)
2035: On track for 80%. We have proposed 90% and how to get there.

Government has a goal of climate neutrality by 2045. We have shown a path to do it by 2040.

Disappointed, as the Danish government today decided on a 82% climate target for 2035 that
- doesn’t really require new policies*
- didn’t include targets for international aviation’s climate impact (which is about to surpass that of all Danish cars!)

It’s an American Obsession. It’s Based on a Total Lie. We Have to Stop Before It’s Too Late. The truth about what's happening on America's roads—and how we can stop it.

“The phenomenon is known as induced demand. The result is an endless cycle in which congestion leads to highway expansion, which invites more trips, which brings back traffic…The pattern is so inevitable that economists have dubbed it the iron law of congestion.” #InducedTraffic

The Commission drops the ban on fossil fuel vehicles.
The transition to electrical cars is speeding up, but the German car industry is pulling the brakes on the transition. Where will that leave the industry in the future?
But, the German car industry is a very successful lobbyist.

EVs beat petrol cars on lifetime emissions — even on “dirty” grids.
Battery production is carbon-intensive, but EVs quickly repay that debt and end up 21–71% cleaner over 250,000 km.

We can’t wait for perfect grids: electrify transport and clean the grid now.

HOW ARE EUROPEAN COMMISSIONERS USING X NOW?
