βοΈ Having a great time at this weekβs Summer School on βCritical AI Literacy: Sustainability Challengesβ, with co-organizers @marentierra.bsky.social, @johankwisthout.bsky.social and Barbara MΓΌller
Check-out our website with the programmers and useful resources!

We try to accommodate flexible working hours, part-time, and remote work as much as possible. Feel free to inquire with us about these and other topics; however, note that applications (at latest June 8th) are accepted via the above links only! 8/8
We particularly welcome applications from marginalized and underrepresented groups in AI. We are committed to fostering an open, safe, and inclusive research environment for our group members. All group members are expected to contribute to this and educate themselves on this topic. 7/8
You will be part of the PGM group, hosting junior and senior staff members with related research interests. Part of both positions is a 10% teaching load in the School of AI, for example, in the Probability Theory and Bayesian Network courses. 6/8
Both PhD positions explore traceable AI (with a focus on Bayesian networks), but with a different focus: the first project on tracing the development of the network, the second one on tracing the output. Applications are open until June 8th and the positions start September 1st. 5/8
In the second position, we use annotated Credal networks to trace back the origin of advice in a Bayesian network: www.ru.nl/en/working-a... 4/8
In the first position, we study how AutoML techniques can be used to develop Bayesian networks, and how Bayesian networks can explain AutoML outcomes: www.ru.nl/en/working-a... 3/8
The ELSA lab (Ethical, Legal, and Societal Aspects of AI) is an interdisciplinary collaboration between various universities and partners. We study the necessary legal, ethical, and technological requirements for AI technology to be responsibly used for clinical decision support 2/8
Job Alert! Two PhD positions in the Probabilistic Graphical Models group of the @DondersInst at @RadboudU. Both PhDs are part of the ELSA lab on Legal, Regulatory, and Policy Aspects of Clinical Decision Support Systems. 1/8
Congratulations @olivia.science π π So deserved. Thank you for all you do for the students and our education program. We are so lucky to have you working with us at the School of AI and @dondersinst.bsky.social !

(i.e., women, non-binary people, people of color, people with disabilities) and appreciate bringing this position under their attention. Co-mentoring of junior staff (PhD candidates, master/bachelor students) and teaching opportunities are available in this position. 7/8
In my research group, diversity, equity, and inclusion is important and I expect all group members to contribute to DEI to make all group members feel welcome, respected and recognized. I welcome applications from candidates from underrepresented groups in AI ... 6/8
Then this position may be something for you! Deadline for applying is February 21st, 2025 via the link below. The position is for two years fulltime, or the equivalent part-time (e.g. 2.5 years / 0.8 fte), at your choice. Flexible hours are possible. ru.nl/en/working-a... 5/8
Do you like to work both on fundamental PGM research as well as collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues and stakeholders on challenges with a large societal impact? Do you enjoy translating your fundamental insights to the healthcare application domain? 4/8
Do you, for example, work on topics like Credal Networks, Sum-Product networks, structure learning algorithms, approximate inference algorithms, explanations in Bayesian networks, causal inference, or similar topics? Attend conferences like PGM, UAI, AIStats or similar? 3/8
We are looking for a candidate who can strengthen and enrich the fundamental research within the PGM group as well as contribute towards explainable, traceable, and maintainable PGMs in healthcare within the Personalised Care in Oncology project personalisedcareinoncology.nl 2/8
