Such transportation, except for Medical transport, is not guaranteed. So, I'm thankful that I can use Amazon Prime and DoorDash.
I'm a nursing home resident with a Colostomy who also has to use a Urine Bottle. Those conditions, along with no longer having hip joints - meaning that I'm dependent on a Wheelchair, at the minimum (I have a Powerchair) - thus dependent on a Transportation Van with a Lift.
Disabled people are not “less than”.
Our worth isn’t determined by our health or our job.
We aren’t expendable and we deserve healthcare, housing, food and safety the same as everyone else.
Almost everyone will become disabled eventually.
Stop letting politicians scapegoat us & start helping!
