Formula E have pretty effectively trained me to set my VPN to Jamaica and watch it on YouTube regardless of TV rights now. I'm pretty sure I *could* watch something somewhere legit on terrestrial TV but when it takes more effort to figure that out than it does to do weird internet trickery... 🫣
Formula E would do well to embrace the more technical side of the sport in my mind, rather than pretend it's just a slow, weird-sounding Formula 1. I don't think I've heard techy coverage like this since @hazelsouthwell.bsky.social was doing FE reporting. I miss it being talked about like this.

Formula E's first free practice session of the year has been delayed by an hour - which has led to some great off the cuff TV coverage by Sam Bird in particular. Much more technical insight than usual. Love it.
I'm sure based on past form if there's only one F1 clash then every other round will clash with the WEC and almost every team will need a full complement of stand-in drivers. It might as well be written in to the sporting regs at this point.
