Iβm Thinking of Ending Things (2020)
Itβs definitely a movie that demands you to rewatch it and see how every little detail on each characterβs psyche is unreliable, unstable, and an absolutely joy to watch unfold. Would probably watch a 5th or 6th time, but that can wait for another year. 8.9
A league of their own poster
A League of Their Own (1992)
While monumental progress has been made in womenβs sports, it only shows that there needs more care in exposure, funding, and seriousness when it comes to levelling the playing field between the sexed sports. A lot of humour is definitely of the time. 7.2
Chainsawman Movie poster
Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc (2025)
The parallels between Denji and Reze forming meaningful moneys and memories together with how thatβs presented in a glossy fashion, compared to Chainsaw and Bombs fight being presented in the exact same way was a remarkable stylistic choice. 8.4
2001: A Space Odyssey poster
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
Stanley Kubrick is a pervert when it comes to drawn out shots to empathise the world weβre peering into, while also being so observant in trends from even back then of what lengths Artificial Intelligence would go to for self-preservation or a completed task. 8.1
Half His Age cover
Half His Age
Really graphic with a disgusting visual on the sexual experience, and through that showing a power dynamic start and crumble when a victim begins to mature and find their own self-worth, while the predator shows the immaturity that was hidden under their outgoing persona. 7.5

Considering getting into Nightvale, which might be the kind of drug I need as someone who loves HomeStuckβ¦ or Iβll hate it and itβll turn me off of audio dramas, who can know~

Taking tick damage every time I have to tuck, call that Tuck Damage. I'm being executed by firing squad tomorr-
This Is How You Lose the Time War
Bigolas Dickolas Wolfwood was absolutely correct. Going into this without knowing anything about it has been the best experience, reading it felt like a breeze due to how creatively structured it is and felt so bittersweet when I had 20 pages left. So good. 9.3
Bullet Train (2022)
Visually creative with it's editing and bloated with colourful characters that make that bloating feel worth it. Feels like a project that had so much outside cultural influence that it might just stand the test of time that many other movies can't seem to grasp. 8.1
Mayhem (2017)
Did extremely solidly within their budget, and even then talking about corporate greed and the only way to really overturn that kind of power is aggressive collectivism, and even then that's hard to come by when they still have a carrot to dangle and power to rain down. 6.6
Operation Avalanche (2016)
Constantly working like they're running out of time, paranoid about the very people who are working with them, and using real techniques to ground their crafting of a conspiracy. Reflecting the same paranoia those attached to their theories in the creation of one. 7.6
The White Lotus - Seasons 1 - 3
While people rightfully look down on colonialism, franchised resorts still profit off of the culture and labour of the people native to the area. Everyone visiting looking down on those around them, even the ones that mirror their own worst aspects. 8.0
I'm Glad My Mom Died
An actual breeze to get through with a lot of material that's very disturbing and a highlight of what might be normal to a certain household is an abusive situation to those aware. Whenever something seems unbelievable, Jennette never forgets to ground it right after. Not Rated
Lowkey evil suggestion, but you'll want to watch it at least three times in a retrospective lens.
The worst thing that can ever happen when taking a gamble on a movie is it being boring, not fun or artful in any kind of sense, just pure mind numbing material that just leaves you frustrated from the time that was wasted. Anyway, if you want a good movie, check out "I'm Thinking of Ending Things."
Sing Sing (2023)
It's a really good representation of how the prison system isn't about rehabilitation, but what really is a type of rehab is community building and breaking down previously build societal barriers around expression of feeling, be that positive or negative. Just so powerful. 8.7
Colossal (2016)
A child-like idea of a brawl within the framing of grown adults, showing how toxic masculinity only empowers immature ideals around how you should use the kind of power you inhibit in society. I do think it's too ambitious for it's own good, but it's too fun of a Kaiju movie. 6.4
Does this mean when two cheez it's rub against eachother, they're frotting? Can I now send this to someone and go "Us?". So many questions are forming.
my first ghost fanart and it's this

Started watching The White Lotus, and I understand why people go to the Zoo now. Itβs just a Zoo for rich white people with no self-awareness for how they affect others lives or their relationships with each other.
Terrifier 3 poster
Terrifier 3 (2024)
I will always be a champion for practical effect work, and while this movie didnβt sing to my particular area Iβm glad that a part of the horror genre is still alive. It just felt predictable and a bit stale when it came to its story and direction of the gore. 5.2
get your fucking hole wet waltuh I'm not gonna ask twice
Caveat (2020)
I wish we had more isolationist indie horror films like this, a unique set of rules to ground it all down and a chilling atmosphere to make those rules more sinister or beneficial to the characters and their struggles. Just give the horror a chance to breathe so that we don't. 7.8
