Getting my teeth deep cleaned today and that’s the best part of my day, if that tells you how things are going.

We need you. We need the archivists and historians. We need the people sabotaging machinery and shipments and infrastructure. We need people looking the other way while someone removes strategic screws or documents or whatever. We need the musicians and the hackers and the massage therapists and the visual artists and the wheatpasters and the people making food and the people caring for the kiddos and the people planting the seeds and harvesting the plants. We need the people driving the buses and the street medics and the folks who will sit and listen. We need the poets and the doctors and the herbalists. We need you. We need the lawyers and teachers and interpreters and poster-makers and heavy-item-lifters and the long-distance drivers and the undercover people who infiltrate right-wing shit. We need the people that will slow shit down and be a nuisance for the oppressors. We need the transcriptionists, the math wizards, the biochemistry people, the people who can help with the dead and dying. We need the people willing to break laws, do big moves in secret. We need the trust fund kids that redistribute wealth and the accountants who suddenly mistake periods for commas. @AidaManduley

We need the carpenters and the gophers and the pharmacists and the fundraisers and the veterinarians and the hazardous waste management folks and the food safety wizards and the cybersecurity nerds and the people who know how to make soap out of tallow and whatever. We need the bodyhackers, the people with usable basements, the people with power tools and wood shops. We need the spreadsheet-makers, the pattern-finders, the risk-takers, the planners. We need the people that mend clothes, that know about organizing people, that have connections in other countries, that speak multiple languages, that know about public health, that know about water safety, that know about foraging and farming, that know about sustainable ecology and renewable energy. We need people that know boats and planes, that know weapons, that know martial arts, that know ceramics. We need the goddamn dentists and the people who know DIY dental care. We need the brujas and the ritualists and the circle-keepers and the people who are REALLY good at target practice. It’s okay & understandable for our capacities to fluctuate, especially for those of us dealing with disabilities, chronic health conditions, & more. This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm.

The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him.
