The internet was once a beautiful thing, created and run by nerds, driven by passion rather than profit. Once it became monetized, the villains from every 80s movie learned buzzwords and ruined everything they touched. We need less X and more gif-crammed Geocities pages on Klingon breakfast dishes.

Just think of the number of professionals- performers, record executives, the director, etc- who sat down, looked at that finished video and said “this is a great final product that isn’t horrifying in any way”.
