.@silkekaiser.bsky.social, Nadja Klein and I just published a new paper on bikes: 🚲 We predict the cycling volume for major streets in #Berlin using data from Strava and bike sharing systems.
Result: It works so-so, but much better with additional short-term counts in from the predicted street!

(1/2) Aiming to address a current gap in systematic analyses of climate policies, Professor of Computer Science and Public Policy @lynnhkaack.bsky.social recently published a dataset to identify policy design elements in EU climate and energy policies.
How does one evaluate policy design? By looking at informative details in the text.
Sebastian Sewerin and I developed a coding scheme to identify policy design elements in climate policy, and with our team we annotated >20,000 spans. The dataset is now out: www.nature.com/articles/s41...
