To me, this suggests that these article don't actually exist (yet?), unless somebody can correct me?
Moreover, I cannot find any articles that have been published in the Anerican Journal of Case Reports. Have they actually published anything?
If you follw the "Articles in Press" link, this leads to a page where articles from other journals (but not this one) are listed. Some of these (by clicking on the "PDF") can be viewed. Some though do not have any links, so you can't access the journal, the article or the PDF.
I guess this means that there are not any archives for this journal?
Looking at the American Journal of Case Reports (ISSN: 1941-5933), which is published by MedPrime Publications.
On the journal's home page there is a link to "Archive". This actually leads no where (that is, it is a '#' link, so stays on the same page).

Is it right that they should force you to give your phone number, especially when you are providing an email address.

On the publisher's "Contact us" page, you cannot submit your message until you supply a phone number.

Not sure why, but I am always a little uncomfortable with this as you are not talking to the journal, but the publisher. If I want to contact the journal, I want to talk to somebody who knows about that journal. I don't want to talk to the publisher.
Too harsh?

I looked at the "Contact us" page and noted that this is the same page for every journal in the MedPrime portfolio.

Not actually sure what we would be charged for this journal (and perhaps it is dependent on the type of article).
We note that when you click on the APCs for any of MedPrime journals, you get taken to this page, which (in my view) makes it even more opaque.

Look at the APCs (Article Processing Charges). At the time of writing the APCs will be USD $1,900 to USD $4,000.

I am the last person who should have a go at typo's in posts/emails but when a journal promotes their "High editorial standards" it should be pointed out.

The return email address is "jplasc@...." but the journal short name is joaips. Perhaps there is not an issue here, but it just seems a little strange. Happy if somebody can explain to me the rationale.

Of course, the Fengkai Group may be an innocent party to this, so would welcome their comments/views. Their web site is here: buff.ly/jROklMJ.
Note: I have respected the privacy of the person who sent me this, but thank you.
I would be very interested to hear people's view, whether you have had any experience of the Fengkai Group or whether you know anybody who has used their services (privately, DM is fine).
3๏ธโฃ Perhaps most shocking (to me), Party B (the Professor supplying the paper) **MAY** be invited to be an author on the paper. I still can't quite believe this.
4๏ธโฃ As would be expected all parties are bound to keep everything confidential
2๏ธโฃ Party B (the Professor), will receive a payment, depending on where the manuscript gets accepted (essentially based on the @Scopus / @Clarivate quartile.
