Aside from the childish unseriousness, the thing that just really stands out to be here is just the artistic and cultural leeching. They can't produce anything anyone actually wants to watch themselves so they just pinch a load of clips to repurpose.
Some of this is just “grass always greener” syndrome for society at large. We strived to get to this, and as soon as we did suddenly it was bad actually and we should do something else.

It was the first example I could think of, but. Well I guess another way to look at it was I’d be a lot more open to PoE if respeccing was easy and not a nightmare of grinding consumables to get a single point back. “Experiment until i hit the wall then switch” is fine but PoE makes switching hard
If it’s like a roguelike or something where a bad build costs me like 15 minutes I might be willing to power through but I am not investing 50 hours in someone to hit a hard wall at the endgame
I maintain that if I need a guide to make a character that is viable then the system is bad, this is a hard line for me.
