I'm real but I'm from the old stream (missing the 1 like = 1 alternative dystopia shenanigans by the way... can I order one as a Christmas present please?)
Brilliant, insightful, funny, highly quotable! so proud!!
I sure don't miss that one day of storm that made me miss out on an excellent Yurt gig and that other day when Arthur's Seat was on fire but otherwise yes ๐
Yes but nothing flies from Brussels straight to Cardiff apparently. Hope the train works out ๐
I've zero clues about how to get to Wales and if I'll be able to make time but I've got my ticket anyway! ๐
(PS actually if you could hit follow that'd be swell ;-) we know each other from FEST in Espinho in 2011 which I refuse to believe is over a decade ago ๐ญ)
I come here to ask you something about web things and the first thing my eye falls on is you commenting on my favourite film of all time ๐คฏ
I was 2nd row and he looked straight at me during parts of the ghost-at-the-banquet scene ๐ณ struggled to breathe
Why withhold ๐คฉ I did however force myself to look at another actor once in a while ๐ briefly (kidding, they were all excellent)
There ya go!
You'll have to ask someone with shows still coming up, I'm back home and my tickets now simply say 'leave a review'.
By the way the app load screen says 'Edinbugh Festival Fringe' ;-) That at least is an easy fix :-D
On the app, the "cutting it close" warning obscures nearly the entire ticket which is annoying and unhelpful. I'm not sure how it's programmed but I don't consider 1hr20 between shows as 'close' anyway... being able to swipe the notif away would be a nice.
Back from a 15 day/250km-ish hike and straight to the neurosurgeon because "it's very problematic I still can't raise up on my toes" ... currently googling sports people with hernias are allowed to do and it's just walking โบ (clearly), cycling ๐ (my only mode of transport) and ... swimming ๐คฎ (NOPE)
I mean she wasn't there during filming but she talked about the shop rearrangements they needed and I doubt it's PLOT but still quite cool ๐
Just visited Till's Bookshop in Edinburgh and had a lovely chat with the member of staff who is definitely going to start reading & watching Good Omens and didn't tell me any spoilers at all ๐๐๐๐
That is one impressive performance wow he had the audience absolutely eating out of his hand ๐ฅฐ๐คฉ๐ Never seen such spot, ridiculous yet surprisingly elegant mime! ๐
About to see Rhys Darby at the Fringe ๐คช Loooong queue
Went to the Loch Ness Centre in Drumnadrochit as a birthday treat expecting monsters but got immediately distracted by David Tennant doing the voice-overs throughout the entire thing. 10/10 experience Nessie or not ๐๐คฉ๐ฅณ

I love pretending I know all about whisky while I'm actually just ordering my favourite TV show characters' tipples ๐ about to try Lagavulin 16yo ๐
I've an entire DVD ๐ I'll see if I can grab a couple clips for ya, but I'm currently hiking in Scotland so remind me if I should forget ๐
Oh my... I'd have to rethink that but I'd love Sweetums as Fuchur and Dr Bunsen + Beaker as Engywuk & Urgl (not sure how to spell the English/German versions of these names)
By the way our Fuchur was amazing, dressed like a mashup of a 1920 pilote (with goggles!) and a bear, suspended from the ceiling on a retro bike with huge headlights and motorised bat-like cloth wings that flapped!!
Aw thanks! Yeah I worked real hard. I passed the audition mainly thanks to dance skills and good diction & voice for speech, not entirely for singing since I had just started taking classes and my technique was still nowhere near what it needs to be, but I learnt soooo much in that company ๐ฅฐ
Meanwhile I wanna see a Muppet version so bad, have fan casted it in my head so many times ๐คฃ
Oh do! It's GRIM! So otherworldly. Perfect for teens really ๐
And Atreju moved in between us & the cloth but he didn't see us, could only hear our voices, if that makes sense. Very tricky, messy rehearsals haha
There were 5 of us and we did a sprechengesang poem (that's probably spelled wrong I'm sorry), dressed all in white with a sparkly insignia on our foreheads and we did a choreo wrapped in a long white arial acrobatics cloth. I was also chorus/swing & understudy for one of the 4 winds ๐คฉ
And lastly I read Mirror in the Mirror as a young teen straight after Neverending Story and it messed me up a little ๐ณ
