I'm in my 40s and also ended up in the hospital because of RSV + asthma. It's a nasty virus. I'll find the money - I don't want to go through that again. Hope your daughter is ok and avoids it this year.
Unfortunately, in the UK, the NHS has a very strict eligibility for that vaccine - over 75 or pregnant. If I want it, I'd have to pay. I was so unwell with RSV last year. It may be worth the £300

Hey, are you UK based? I'm trying to get an RSV vaccine. GP says I'm not eligible, tut. Can't seem to find any pharmacies that do them either. Any advice?
