We had a ‘Duo Special’ at the weekly live life drawing group. This gave fabulous options for forming a composition and as I’ve been trying to focus on faces and hands, I really enjoyed the position I got to draw from.
2B and 7B and of course my trusty propelling eraser pencil 😂

Apologies, I keep forgetting to log into this account as have my life modelling account as my main one on my phone. I struggle to paint in my life drawing sessions mainly because I run them and I’m busy doing other things. The watercolour course I do is great though

I was back doing a 3hr watercolour course which is an intense evening but good to learn. Lots of mistakes but that’s the best way to learn… first time using salt when painting!

Yes I used pastel quite a bit and I do love charcoal. I have in fact done one acrylic life painting which was fun

First week back to live life drawing group and it was good to get the pencils out again.
I know I need to try other mediums at the group…. A watercolour painting to follow from a recent 3 hr course….. but I am enjoying pencils so for the moment, I’m sticking with them.

The final life drawing session of 2024 saw a couple of of 40 minute poses. Tricky angles but enjoyable.
Roll on 2025 when I’m back to the weekly group sessions.
