Georgia is not at all reliant on Iran in any meaningful way and the Iranian regime falling will unfortunately have no serious effect on Ivanishvili. Only a major collapse in Russia may accomplish that.

What precedent? Russia tried to kill Zelensky in the first few days of the war and repeatedly since. Prior to that they killed the leader of Chechnya and poisoned another president of Ukraine.
