Got tiles in an array. I want to tidy up the code as it's a mess now. But will soon be having assets loaded as part of the scroll.

When I reworked my bump maps to a displacement map for a test render a few years ago. It kinda worked still...

When I reapproach modeling a higher Res version of the akera from my old low poly version, I've wanted to keep that soft panel look that the bump maps from the old model gave.

Something about that really worked for some reason.

Basically the panels having a rounder edge to them.

They were a game of The Sims, they were not sentient holograms like what the Doctor became. They were basic simple fictional characters running on a script that was randomly generated. They had no free will nor self awareness. Simply put, they were not real.

So lets talk about last weeks episode of Academy. This certainly was one the better end of episodes so far for me. But I do have some niggling issues that Im kinda struggling to get past with it... And its to do with the Doctors trauma.

Firstly its the choice of the voyager episode with the 1/

It's the same graphics chip there runs the voyager tricorder. But the library for it is outdated and needs some new features so I've been refactoring it to work on modern esp32s in quad spi mode...

It's still not quite there yet. Quad mode not working but it was a fight to get it working on spi.

Made some slight progress on getting this eve Dev board working..... I swapped the chip. And discover it's not the chip. My code has some missing init commands...
It's still not working but I can now at least reliably read the chip id.
So I'm at least part way there.
