We are big All Feels fans. And in fact one of us was once an All Feel!
Pen and ink poster announcing a show on Friday March 20th at Luthier's Co-op in Easthampton MA featuring the bands "The Unlucky Shots," "Bring it to Bear" and "Bella Comets." Illustration - two guys reading books on a pile of books with two bears nearby in front of an old mill building.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if everyone in Outro besides Josh had their own band, and then all those other bands played a show together? Well wonder no more. Friday March 20th at Luthier's Co-op in Easthampton... much good music in store. Josh had better show up, is all I'm saying.
Here it is: the weirdest story I've ever reported, with a bonus thread of weird stuff I didn't have room to include. In print Sunday in the Boston Globe.

We know the details behind this story, and let me tell you, the insanity described by the able @erdanton.bsky.social goes waaaaay deep.
You might think this article isn't ABOUT Outro, and you'd be right, but we are in it. www.bostonglobe.com/2026/02/27/a...
It is the one year anniversary of that time RO called something we did 'impossibly cool sounding.' Click through to find out what...
From a year ago: wrote about records from Minorcan, Outro, Above Me, and Nobodyβs Dad:

Memorable evening at the Drake last night. Thanks to the many brave souls who fought back against the chill to be together. Can't say enough good things about sets by Slant of Light and Landowner... go see these bands, people.
Methinks the happiness of the ground for the knockers up was more than slightly overstated in this instance.
The chances of anyone we both know seeing this exchange are approximately "nil" as the football people say.
It must feel good as fuck to be unable to be completed at this time if you're a request
Ok that makes sense. Thank you. (this is Adam btw, perhaps obviously)
Ok I get the knockers up part, but... "happy ground for the knockers up" because now they will be more respected by everyone for the important job they do with their knocking?
please explain the headline
Thanks, Matthew!
It is Bandcamp Friday.

Happy 2nd birthday to our local scene newsletter - give Eric a follow if you don't already. Featuring Landowner this week, who, have we mentioned, we play with tomorrow at The Drake.
I have to correct this band account and say that Slant of Light is putting out an LP. Full length. Not an EP. Who does the posts over there?
I think we both know the answer to that.
What's that you say? A low of -7F on Saturday Night? I'll believe it when I see it and also when I see you at The Drake for the Slant of Light EP release with us and Landowner. Remember: once you're inside a club, warmth rules.

Come on out to Amherst's The Drake on Saturday Feb 7th -- it's an album release party for Slant of Light (a fantastic band) and a regular old high quality psych rock post punk party for Landowner and Outro (also fantastic bands, if I may say so myself). www.thedrakeamherst.org/events/lando...
Outro = 50% Wes music majors, in case you did not already know that.
Can we recommend another Outro side-project? Our bassist Peter makes incredible songs and sings them with his wife Jessica under the name "Bella Comets" and they are magical... first one released today, and more to come:
We are a hardy band, but there are limits.
