I’m sure we can arrange a bbq… maybe kids birthday style in a park with fairy bread as well as a sausage sizzle.

THE ACTUAL FUCK IS THIS?!! You disrespectful Liberal freaks! #auspol
Yep, started to fill it out, hit what felt like an ambiguous question. Trying to work out what it meant felt like work. Closed page. :/
Oh god... the new discord UI is horrific... how can I get the old one back?
@packetcoders.bsky.social Howdy! Just signed up but didn’t get a slack invite, and the invite in the FAQ has been revoked. Cheers!
Absolutely fantastic ending… I’m both filled with joy with how good this season has been and so sad to see it go. sooo is it too early for a series of movies or what?
iPhone alarm screen showing 3 alarms set for 3:00, 3:03, 3:06 and the current time of 22:50.
Why do I do this to myself? Ugh 6am flights and far away airports.
I need to get my own gear re-installed. I’ve moved around so much the last few years and it’s all sitting in a box going to waste.
Also keen to hear what tool this is.. but if you’re in the market for other good air traffic tools.. plane.watch is a community driven adsb network. Pretty decent coverage.
Two pins coladas on princess cruises napkins sitting on a table.
Tastes like holidays.
On a little cruise from Melbourne to Adelaide and back. I’ve been looking forward to a nice relaxing week for quite a long time. oh wait, I brought a 3 year old along.. first day in and I’m already exhausted!
And if there’s anything you desperately need for day 1 and day 2 that we can’t otherwise source check out the local computer shops, Centrecom/PLE/Scorptec. I can run around and pick stuff up before you arrive to drop off when needed.
A pair of crocs with a Bluey theme. Bandit and Bingo are on the right pair, Bluey and Chilli are on the left pair. They’re all in the back yard while the kids chase a red balloon.
I’ve never worn crocs before but my wife told me they released Bluey ones. Sooo now I have a pair of crocs…
Haha, sounds like a pretty good way to spend the day.
That’s a good reason to be up! Hope the kiddo is doing better now.
My long term plan is to ship them off to a DC, so now looking at redundant power options for raspberry pi’s, hopefully possibly to power a single pi from a usb port on each server, similar to how the RIPE atlas probe is powered.
Finally in the air, the pilots were able to fix the issue in the end.
Ohh, interesting. I’m building up a new proxmox 2 node cluster to replace my VMware lab. I’ll have to look into using a raspberry pi to be the tie breaker. I didn’t know that was a thing you could do.
Looking forward to updating my lab to 8.3, the webhook stuff looks interesting.
Not off to a great start today.. we pushed back and now they’ve got a warning light in the cockpit and we need to return to the gate to get an engineer to look at it.
I haven’t played in a loooong time… I’ve got plenty of spare compute for a server though… also isn’t it an ungodly hour for you?? It’s bad enough here in the east!
Yeah, I had no idea this was a thing… saw the trailer and I’m now super excited… might be time to get the ol’ MC crew back together?
Oooh, this is interesting. The APU on this aircraft is inoperative, so the captain was just explaining the alternative start up procedure to us.
Off to the airport far far too early in the morning. I can still see the occasional possum climbing the power poles. Stay safe little guys. It’s dangerous up there.

You can pick up a signalfire splicer pretty cheap. Probably not ideal if you’re splicing every day, but for the odd splice they’re not too bad.
Tested positive for covid today. Guess that explains the 20 hour nap I needed yesterday... :/
Yep!
Ohh, this is my new one thats going to replace some older gear that’s chewing up more power than I’d like. I find it’s better value to send it off to colocation than having it sitting in my garage making heat and noise.
