"Have you read the recent discourse about newly released popular game?"
No because I have
"It's one of these intricate little things that feels like an all-timer." π²
High praise indeed on Titanium Court, thanks @caraellison.bsky.social and Rick! π
Exactly. You can bring back the player count of a dwindling game, but not of one that you've completely shuttered. Maybe they were so embarrassed by the entire thing that they want everyone to stop making memes on it - but shutting it down is also fuel to get dunked on.
It's like, is it a tax write off or something? Makes no sense
So happy for you and the team, it was one of my big surprises at gamescom so I'm glad more folks can finally play it!
when you hear "shit-eating grin" and decide to make a product out of it
literally raising this internally rn
@ascottreid.bsky.social Scott! Would love to get in touch about something sporty - I have dropped you a DM (you may not have those switched on?) though would love to get your email, please! πΎ
Bah, sorry to hear this but as I said to Ian, I'd love to support what you're doing with your own channel. I've got lots of games with lots of fascinating lore to deep dive into! I'll let you know if I spot any roles that'd suit, too.
Disappointing to hear. You're a brilliant and funny host and I've watched lots of EG videos on games that I'm not that interested in, just because you've made the channel wildly entertaining. This is such a loss but I know you'll smash it on your own channel/whoever's smart enough to hire you next.

New Pokemon starters look great.

Pombon looks edible, there I said it
Yup, the number of devs I speak to who ask for marketing support one month (or even a couple of weeks!) before SNF or launch is unreal.
I get that the devving takes priority as it's what they know best but they're only harming their game by not properly planning.
let's ALL make the joke and embarrass him enough into never running again π€π½
the UK being normal for once, good fucking morning
got me feeling optimistic about the future of the UK, she's really showing that "wanting things to be not shit" is actually a very popular platform, who knew!
I've already been advising "non-Next Fest fests" for a while now and seeing Next Fest as a platform-based amplifier for pre-existing success. Unfortunately msany devs don't follow other fests and are stuck aiming for SNF only - for some, that's their only, or main, piece of promotion before launch.
ICO Partners are handling the PR (not sure if it's region specific)! @persistentworld.bsky.social @icopartners.com could you help, please?
can confirm (sort of, depends on your definition of normal)
