70 total games would be preferable, but they won't cut games and never will. this lessens the load on each guy and at least starts to re-establish credibility with paying customers. it's not perfect but you can't tell me it wouldn't be better
NBA fix: sched stays at 82 but each individual player can only play in 70 of them. teams announce before the season which games they're planning on sitting their stars in (all home games); if ticket prices sink, they sink, we're honest brokers now. 55-game minimum for All-NBA/awards. mandated rest!
