unfair comparison because the favourite is one of my favorite movies but it sure ain't no favourite
it's weird that it's being billed as a black comedy because while it does have some humor in it i primarily found it exceedingly sad and generally quite bleak. emma stone, jesse plemons, and aidan delbis were all fabulous in it, and yes the cinematography is gorgeous, but overall not really a fan.

after playing all weekend i finished resident evil requiem! absolutely insane video game; i loved basically everything about it. there are so many 'holy shit' moments, and i absolutely cried during some of it (if you've played, you know when). great, great game.
time to see how bad insanity is lol

but anyway, interesting game. i probably will not go back and play through it as the other characters because frankly that seems like a tremendous waste of time, but i do think iโll play file #2 after iโm done with re9 and see what else they were cooking up here. (hopefully better game systems)
truly terrible solo play system (the ally ai is so awful lol), useless maps, really bad inventory management, and oh my god the loading screens. so i actually think that outbreak would be a perfect game for capcom to modernize with a remake and put out at a mid-range priceโฆ (capcom pls)
i really appreciated the vibes (hospital and university levels were standouts in that department imo) and the intent in the writingโthe unique endings are all a really interesting space that re traditionally doesnโt exploreโbut man did it feel like the clunky game systems were actively fighting me
iโm putting off starting re9 until tomorrow after work, so i beat outbreak as alyssa tonight. very interesting game that obviously had a lot of cool ideas but which were ultimately held back by the formatโฆ but i still ended up liking it more than hating it, even as a solo player
