Time to coalesce. I didn’t have a vote. I wanted Crockett and I want her to keep going. There is nothing more important right now than supporting the nominee even if he wasn’t your candidate of choice. If for no other reason than the courts depend on it.
I’m a news junkie since the 🇮🇷 hostage crisis of 79-80 & been a proponent of all the things progressives claim to want & when I lose an election I figure the answer is to “try harder” or “try something different” I have spent my adult life making the party different from the GOP maybe I failed.
I was being sarcastic. I’ve been a member of the Democratic Party since 1988. I’ve been a Dem office holder, worked on many Fed, state, local campaigns in NJ & am counsel to local govts & Democrats.
So I am acutely aware of how the parties are different. 👍
But both parties are the same. And they’ll use the same tired line in 2028 too.
Or going backwards. Example: Gaza. By not voting and allowing Trump to win they set the cause of Gaza back decades if not irreversibly altered if the people are corralled to the interior while Trump & friends develop the coastline.
This also happened while you were not paying attention. At least it’s a joint operation with Ecuador. Still no Congressional authorization to use the military.

Prob won’t happen. It could be argued Obama, who was technically a boomer, was Gen-X in spirit.
Also, up until recently the largest voting block of a long time. Everything now can be traced back to that generation. Even when POtUS wasn’t a boomer the were controlling the voting.
I mean come on isn’t it obvious that Putin, Trump & Netanyahu all have an agreement to try to help each other stay in power?
It’s too bad people don’t see that a vote for Harris would have degraded all three, with Netanyahu being the trickiest to navigate but aid prob would have been cut.
Iran is much bigger and has more firepower than Syria. A civil war there will be years of chaos. I’m sure that won’t affect oil prices too much.

All I heard was that things were too expensive and the price of eggs, well gas prices are going up and you’ll be grateful if it’s only a 10% increase.
I was told we were spending too much $$$ on Ukraine and we should spend that $$$ here meanwhile we just dropped billions of money in bombs on Iran in 48 hours.
It’s why I’m not impressed anymore. We spend so much $$$ on this stuff - it better work and it better be effective but I’d rather have healthcare, education and functioning public transit.
