I don't recall the last time the LLM anthropomorphized to me. It is allowed to use "the model" if it must communicate about language generation.
The fact you are aware of the antimemetics division means you've been infected with a Euclid class SCP. Good luck, you have up to 24h before you cease to exist. Take notes.
I hate LLMs so much.
In case you're wondering what Stage 1 was (allocate the surplus to consumers)
Stage 2 of #enshittification is well in progress. The surplus is being shifted away from consumers. chatgpt is already not working on mobile web.
Stage 3, that comes after, will take surplus away from the content producers. They'll have to pay for content (not ads) to be shown
I'm looking for Mac-only IT support company for SMB. Anyone have good experiences?
I find it wild how AI is this unstoppable force and also we have to change every API and data format to markdown.
This holiday season I managed not to buy any new domain names π
So... what happens when LLMs are trained on LLM generated code?
@firefox.com how are you this incompetent in 2025?!
Your major version update (146), once again, destroyed all bookmark functionality.
What do you think you Job To Be Done is?!
heh...
"The βis aβ relation is the most overhyped and poorly understood mistake in computer science."
... change my mind π
Ah ok, thank you.
. @markburgessosl.bsky.social I'm noticing the change to LEADS TO instead of FOLLOWS FROM in SSTorytime writing.
Any significant reason for the change? Or is it just easier for folks to use?

Concrete has cement. Cement has lime. Lime comes from limestone. Limestone is sedimentary rock (what fell to ocean bottom) from corals and seashells, often with fossils.
So skyscrapers are bone altars.

I think summary of LLMs for code is missing the three modalities I'm aware of: ghost text, chat, agents. Each mode of operation feels quite different with increasing peril.

Did anyone at Google bother to read this sentence out loud?
My history is off, so thankfully, that turns off the feed.
I only look at new stuff from channels I'm subscribed to. Although the adtech is trying really hard to make it feel like 1990s.
It's Halloween. So here's a story about the horror of replacing your developers with AI:

There's this idea that thanks to LLMs reviewing code will become more important than writing code.
It misses the idea that writing code includes reviewing code as a side effect.
For those who only speak "LLM": writing code is like generating your own data on which you train to review code.

Incidentally, this short 4 minute video triggered in me a fundamental insight into why quaternions work: an embedding in a higher-dimensional space with one constraint avoids singularities or discontinuities when representing the embedded space.
