it's because a lot of people reflexively follow a template that big studios use for immediately recognizable IPs. unless you have one big achievement you can point at (and even if you have that), most people just want to see the game
this one. 👆🏼 almost every creative person i've ever worked with (including myself) just wants enough to keep going, and keep doing the thing they love doing.
if you're still here creating in 2025, you're doing something right 💕
