Nice! A Gorgo comic I've never seen. π¦ππ
Hi Nat! And thanks for asking about me! You're right, I've been having a case of "too much internet syndrome" and needed to let my heart & brain rest before they both exploded π.
I'm still in that mode for the time being, but will always be here for you, come hell or highwater!

Ah, ok!
I knew you'd somehow dig up the details on that.
You have strong "ancient cultural archaeologist"-genes in your blood. π π π
Nice! With scuba gear!
No wonder it auctioned off so highπ°.
I'm wondering what the long brown things beneath his feet are.

New to me...Amazed at all those stars in it, stars I didn't/couldn't appreciate as a kid, but do now.π

Really.
If Robert Duvall was in it, you confidently knew in advance the film was going to be great. πΉπ
He was. π
I loved how even in his tv show "Alfred Hitchcock Presents", the episodes were mostly like mini-movies, with his signature written all over them. Quality acting & camerawork, highly-detailed sets, movie-quality writing, etc.π
Hitchcock did that too in "The Birds"...when Jessica Tandy found her neighbor's body and tore out of there with her unheard scream stuck in her throat for like 3 minutes π
π³π±π±π±
Her *not* screaming made it even worse.π
It also "introduced" me to the concept of "creepy people can be all around us at all times without us knowing it"...the characters looked and behaved so ordinarily, and not like clones of other horror flicks. Ruth Gordon wasπ.
There's another Bsky post somewhere that says "a movie you had no business seeing as a kid". I was about 10 when I saw this. Scared the living sh*t outa me. That look on her face near the end still unnerves me.π³π±

... also starred in George Lucas' very first major film, "THX-1138" (1971).
Harry Hamlin as 'Perseus' in "Clash Of The Titans" (1981).
If you see this, post a character that starts with the letter P
I know what you mean. Strange days we're living in.
I sometimes need to giggle at something silly to keep my brain from blowing a fuse. π
Had to listen to "The Letter" again π...thanks, that was a nice way for me to wrap up the weekend!ππ
Exactly! He met another great song when he did The Beatles' "With A Little Help..." at Woodstock π― π π«Ά
