This is "Myaku-Myaku", the mascot of the EXPO in Japan(Osaka) last year, and he's an (official) shapeshifter who's made out of cells and water!
Probably the 1st amorphous character I know to be used as a mascot at an international event :P

Yep, same is true for my digital art! I usually just crop out the empty space, and it makes the drawing look so much nicer :3

Art is so fun cause you can use whatever aspect ratio you want and make it suit the drawing

I also wanna try messing with a smaller canvas at some point, cause I really liked the Cerulean doodle from a few days ago

I've known about that trick, it works well most of the time! But it's a shame we have to do that in the first place,,

I miss the days before AI, you can't even look up the definition of a word into google anymore because they replaced it with what the AI "thinks" it means, it's so annoying
