As much as Bill Cassidy sucks, the alternative of putting Julia Letlow in the US Senate is far, far worse. It's definitely a lesser of two evils situation, but casting a vote to remove Trump when he was impeached the second time may have sealed Cassidy's fate in this state.
Combine this with likely +$100/barrel oil due to the war with Iran and Gulf States shutting down production, the US economy is sitting on the precipice of recession.
