At the mailbox today, the good stuff. Anna Tambour's new novelette, How Much is That Mermaid? I've been reading and digging Anna's work since The Spotted Lily. If you're unfamiliar with her fiction, you're missing out on one of the most unique voices in contemporary fiction.

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday the high was 20 and the low 5. Poor Pu Songling was up to his elbows in snow. Today, a balmy 46.
Remembered the other day, this book by Liz Hand (done for Darkhorse, her own take) and how terrific it was. Hard to find a copy under 50 bucks now.
