Money is unfortunately always necessary in politics as of right now but Bernie Sanders ran a relatively impressive campaign just from individual donors while the Democrats have been fumbling their national election campaigning despite having hundreds of millions of dollars to spend on them.

I wouldn't have supported an emphasis on violent tactics prior to 2024, mostly because left-wingers have an easier time navigating "the camera gaze" when they don't engage in it and let the right-wingers be insane. Both are very broad categories as well. The misogyny of a Malaysian man is distinct from, if related, to the misogyny of a Filipino man. You might get more insight from categorizing based on nationality instead of ethnicity or race.

That's a very astute observation! I personally think we should consider how these ideologies on a meta-level are basically just how we mediate the foundational organizing forces of modern/postmodern civilization. The fact that most of them share large overlaps shouldn't be a surprise at all.

Unfortunately, we're a political minority and we can't practically expect the millions of liberal voters out there to do a heel-turn toward Communism. We need to acknowledge that there's an uneven development of class consciousness.

There should be emphasis on the creation of grassroots organizations that empower people on the local level. We need to organize protests and rent strikes as well as demanding public works programs and unemployment insurance. The primary mechanism of change is disruption.

It's not something I would support long-term but it should at least be considered in the short-term in order to maximize the number of people we can onboard. We shouldn't deny that we're Socialists but we should meet people where they're at.
