Louise is mum to 18-month Frankie, who was diagnosed with Septo-optic dysplasia at just 6 months of age.
In February they attended a drop‑in information event hosted by @rnibscotland.bsky.social in Wick.

We recently delivered a sight loss awareness session to the crew at Elgin Fire Station 🚒
They learned about different types of visual impairment and how to better support blind and partially sighted people, and Ian even gave the fire pole a go!

We've been speaking with drivers to share the challenges blind and partially sighted people face when making a journey. Often it's just small things that a driver can do to help people travel safely!
