Especially since all three of us share lotsa love for danganronpa its very much a game that i feel hits those notes!....among other things like indie games in general BUT AH I DIGRESS!

Of course! Its def a game that leaves an impression. It DOES drive me mad as a colorblind person thanks to its color based puzzles but yeah. I use to be anxious about recommending it but thats coward behavior everyone should play it! Also yes GOD YES YOU AND AIM WOULD PROBABLY LOVE OTD

The way its helped shaped my art too especially my comic cant be stressed enough but it, alongside umineko, really shaped how i engage with art and in general any medium and its testament to my love of the imperfect!...ahem anyways ye...evergrace good. Great. Also the soundtrack FUUUUUCKS

Sorry for the lengrhy reply its just a very....distinct game that i was absolutely enamoured with start to finish. Thats not even getting into the typical cryptic yet very expansive story of it all. Its just...everywhere you look at that game there is SOMETHING interesting to talk about!

A comparison i make with great intent as world designer and i think some character designers and qriters came back onboard for that game: the elden trees and general ethereal settings and color palettes interesting landmarks are shared amongst both games! God. Idk man. It fucks. Its jank. Its me.

Its got all the fromsoft tropes: post apocalyptic, hazardous and unfriendly, cryptic, but also has a...tribally feel to it? Er...rural fantasy feel? That meshes with the story execution and music to make it truly otherworldly and ethereal. Its got atmosphere only matched by elden ring!

I always play it and its sequel ost qhen drawing my comic which brings me to the general sense of world design. Which has H E A V I L Y influenced my art about as much as umineko or otd. But the color palette! Its got a LOT of fall colors: yellows greens and reds to go along with a strange setting

Oh gosh ahh hmmm its so....distinct? Enchanting even? Probably the biggest thing about it is it has a very VERY strong sense of art direction! Kota hoshino is an incredible musician and his music for evergrace is nothing short of absolutely godly. Every track is so...unique and gets stuck in my head

Theres a lot of games i can say are all timers but def very few that have completely reshaped my brain completely with that context id say id have maybe one or two more games id put on here

Forever chasing the feelings to fill the holes in my heart these games left
