Years of behaving disgustingly are coming home to roost. I’m sure you’re right and the peculations as thy surface will be make MPs’ expenses look like the accounts of a vicarage tea party
I just knew it. I was simply waiting to hear when. Andrew MW charged his tarts to HMG. Knowing what I do about public audit processes - which are thorough - this completely inexcusable use of public funds must have had a blind eye turned to it www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Andrew MW is a complete toe rag and entirely the architect of his own misfortunes. He’s been a nasty piece of work his entire life. However I find the glee and baying at its misfortunes disturbing and unserious. Also disappointed how it’s the crookedness not the misogyny police have turned to first
Sorry he’s a former Prime Minister and whilst not in office he is a politician. He’s not a butcher or a florist. You also must get the point that it’s well dodgy for politicians to say the police should or shouldn’t take specific action. That’s all I’m saying and it’s a very reasonable view
Wonderful evening at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester. The Eroica - Beethoven’s magnificent 3rd. Then a tram back to my hotel with my new friends
Blood tests reveal a lot about a patient’s health, are crucial in diagnosing many conditions and are often the last tests patients need before they can be discharged from hospital.
Celebrating the work of phlebotomy and phlebotomists from the wards to the community, today is Phlebotomy Day! 🎉
We don’t disagree. Everyone who is suspected of a serious crime should be investigated by the police and if a threshold passed go before the justice system. But it’s important that this process should all be completely independent of any politician (and any former PM remains a political authority)
However obvious the case seems, whatever the public outrage, however disgusting the allegations. politicians should never, ever be suggesting who the police should or should not interview. Ever. Even when the gentleman concerned is an utter toe-rag like A M-W
Hip and pelvis x-ray today at St.Thomas’ Hospital. Four minutes from entering the radiology department to everything being done. Open appointment system too - just turn up when convenient and they see you. Our completely wonderful NHS
A cruel and unusual torture ….
Went to see Linklater’s ‘Nouvelle Vague’ at BFI Southbank this evening. Jaw-droppingly good. Inspired to watch ‘Breathless’ the next chance I get

Steps!
This is a shameful state of affairs. A real harm to today’s children and a complete insult to all those who over many generations fought to protect people by developing and implementing universal vaccination
Poetry evening (in honour of Burns) here at The Cove, Fairlight - we’ve had lots of Burns plus Walter de La Mare, Dorothy Parker, John Benjamin, Dylan Thomas and even Ian Drury!
What a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
Alex Pretti worked as a nurse for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This is another completely shocking killing
Needs careful doing. These things are always very mercurial. The assassin seldom wears the crown
Pleasant morning today working with @europeanmovement.co.uk @mikegalsworthy.bsky.social at their new Council induction workshop. My very smartly dressed colleagues Peter and Maurizio here
