This is generally how they announce things (and Sony announced the new PlayStation project in a YouTube video last year).

uh holy shit he fired kristi noem. www.nytimes.com/live/2026/03...
i'd like to know where this is appearing, because i'm certainly not getting it.
i regaled @patrickklepek.bsky.social with this comparison at the event we were at for it. it very much feels that way.
so the bride(!) reviews are just about evenly split between positive and negative, and you'll never believe what demographic line appears to split the vast majority of positive and negative reactions!
i find so much of the commentary around grace in RE9 hilarious because all of it is "she's so relatable and normal" and like, yes, she's scared shitless, but she's also racking back the slide on her sig like fucking john wick's daughter and firing an additional gun that would break her arm.
ah. well. there you go.
Going back to CFO Lin Tao's comments during Sony's Feb 5th earnings call...
i mean ... there are absolutely people at playstation and sony who feel like the only good xbox is a dead xbox, and until that happens, they won't be satisfied. they can't keep stuff off PC, but they can pay to keep it off xbox.
or sony reinvests in dumptrucks of money to get third party exclusives again.
well, that and "new exec makes changes to old exec's strategy in part because it's old exec's strategy." there's no glory to staying on the same path, even if it's profitable.
if playstation couldn't get PC players on board with PSN accounts with helldivers (if, in fact, PSN accounts almost killed that game on PC until sony backtracked), they were never going to get people into their ecosystem via PC (or so I imagine the thinking partly went).
do i think playstation walking back SP releases on PC makes sense? not at this point in the generation/where the economy is, but broadly i think an exclusive strategy makes sense to sell a console. clearly PS5 benefited from the promise of exclusives, even if the slate has been sparse in practice.
a couple of things on this:
1) part of this is, i think, cope - this gen's PS 1st party hasn't been moving the units they did last gen, and blaming PC is easy.
2) i don't think playstation likes giving 30 percent to steam and PC players refuse to use anything else.
I just realized that the villain in weapons is the motor pool sidekick in streets of fire and I need to sit down for a minute.
hello i am back to clawing my way through aliens: dark descent and i'm sure we can talk about AI or windows or highguard or how you may not understand how the video game industry works (or maybe you do and i don't idk): twitch.tv/aegies
perhaps surprisingly "tech4gamers" misread the original sourcing and are wildly misrepresenting what it says.
Yeah, I think the anodization or whatever there wasnβt super effective in the initial manufacture run.
Anyway everybody wants to think that every game can be good eventually and that theyβre the ship of Theseus but some games arenβt good enough in a competitive market and no amount of patches are going to get them there. A live service game in a crowded genre is an all-in bet.
Typo but fuck it (iOS is really killing me with this shit lately)
I donβt feel pleasure in saying it but there was no cost effective amount of time that would have gotten highgaurd to the point where it would find an audience. If tencent failed, itβs in letting the game get to where it did without intervention.
oooooooooooooof.
Today is International Sex Workersβ Rights Day, a time to support and uplift sex workers everywhereβand a particularly good day to throw some money to the United Brothel Workers in Nevada who were illegally terminated after their historic union drive with CWA went public! βοΈ

today is yet another example of the premise that the stock market can't be trusted to react in a rational way to destabilizing world events when it's being powered by a generation of gambling addicts "buying on the dip."
also deborah ann woll was so underutilized in those games, it would be interesting to see her really get to eat there.
