Fibery's just got a new feel and a new homepage.
We've always been nerds making a product for nerds. Now we have the decency to tell you from four hundred paces.
Fibery's just got a new feel and a new homepage.
We've always been nerds making a product for nerds. Now we have the decency to tell you from four hundred paces.
Two camps are forming in AI Agents:
π Vertical: Productivity tools building their own agents (Notion, ClickUp, etc.)
π¦ Horizontal: AI vendors like Anthropic and OpenAI building universal agents that connect to everything via MCP.
Which side are you betting on?
9/ This year surprised us in the best way.
If you're a Fibery customer βΒ thank you π€
If you're not, 2026 is a good time to try.
We move forward every day. Without hope and without despair. β₯οΈ

8/ Our dreams for 2026:
π Become profitable in Q3 2026
π
Make Fibery more powerful AND easier to use
π Build an honest and relatable brand that makes us (you included) proud
π Reach dopamine/cortisol ratio = 4
7/ 2026 product focus
We want to make Fibery powerful for nerds running orgs (aka architects) and simple for everyone else. Main themes:
1. Simplify Fibery for architects
2. Give architects tools to simplify workspaces for end users
3. Affect as many use cases as possible
6/ 2026 growth focus:
Weβll attract like-minded folks who share our values and spread the word.
- In the age of AI slop, we'll produce human, authentic & valuable content
- We'll create a new visual identity. Now that we understand who we are and who we serve, we'll make it obvious from a mile away.
5/ π§ The biggest shift was internal.
We finally admitted: we don't want to build simple products. We love complexity, abstractions, deep solutions. So we stopped hiding it.
Our brand and product is for people who need power, embrace complexity, understand abstractions, and share our culture.
4/ Great product development progress
The total value we delivered in 2025 is fantastic: 51 releases, 420 features and 1,400 bug fixes.
Mobile apps (6 years after first request). Dashboard, Gantt, Gallery views. Permissions overhaul, AI Agent, and tons of other features.
3/ The marketing paradox
We grew MRR by 85% while cutting marketing spend by 85%.
No ads. No SEO. No paid influencers.
Lesson: Get your basics right before investing heavily in marketing: positioning, pricing, onboarding.
2/ Fibery in 2025 by the numbers
Just some numbers to set the tone:
1/ Fibery in 2025. Finally a good year in review
π +85% MRR growth
π -85% sales and marketing expenses
π 13,500 new leads
πͺ 51 releases, 420 new features and 1400 fixed bugs

Are we doing better at @fibery.com ?
1/ π We just published our entire 2026 strategy document.
Most companies hide their strategy. We're publishing ours for everyone to see. It includes competitor analysis, financial targets, and the $300K we wasted. Here's what's in it π§΅.

My new post is about... success. www.mdubakov.me/what-is-succ...
We've absorbed a lot of dopamine and cortisol from our leads and customers. Positive feedback helps us feel good, negative feedback helps us improve. We love both β

My hero: "An acquaintance writes that a friend of his shared an office with one of the best now living physicists; this physicistβs work habit was to come into the office in the morning and then stare into the wall for 8 hours before going home"
I think we already found, next week we will know for sure
It appears we do not support Claude Code due to security concerns (they require support of dynamic port selection on localhost which we cannot do). We support Claude Desktop though
As promised, now I write more often πͺ. New piece: www.mdubakov.me/malleable-so...
Hi David, I will try to get the reply from our devs, but the MCP creator is enjoying his vacation, so it might be not so fast...
I've been meaning to get to some data cleanup and refactoring in @fibery.bsky.social . My business has been in the platform fully, (bye-bye ClickUp) for a year now and there has been a lot of iterations. Fibery AI Build mode took a database merger from a planned 2.5 hours to 30 minutes π€―

π How Fibery builds Fibery: Weekly releases
For our team size, we ship a lot β we had 50 releases in 2024! Every Thursday, we release all completed features and bugs.
Why? To set the pace for our team, integrate changes quickly, and keep our customers happier each week. π₯Ή
So true

No multiple relations in near future, maybe we get to it in Q3, but even that not clear...
