Hello! In case you missed it, I have a new episode out!
Our audio adventure takes us to Herefordshire to reunite with the faeries, as we learn what happens to those who dare to join the mysterious and perpetual faerie dance.
I absolutely loved working on the sound effects for this episode!π§π½ββοΈπ
That gave me nightmares for MONTHS!
Just finished re-recording an old podcast episode, (plus something extra) and let me tell you I am SICK of hearing my own voice right now I never want to speak again πππ

Just finished editing a new podcast episode! It should be with you on June 1st. (The picture is a clue to which county we're exploring next) π§π½ββοΈπ

Someone on YouTube thought my voice was AI generated and I donβt know whether to laugh or cry! π₯² Tbh I did totally mispronounce Caithness (no idea how that slipped through the net) so I will be re-recording/deleting/re-uploading today. Human error is still very much a thing π
Hello! My new 'Folktales of the Sea' podcast episode is now on YouTube, if you'd prefer to get your stories that way π§π½ββοΈπ
(My Dad fell asleep halfway through listening, so I can confirm it works as a sleep aid! π)

β¨ NEW EPISODE ALERT β¨
It's the podcastβs very first storytelling collection, featuring a selection of my favourite folktales from across the podcast, all connected by their oceanic settings - so plenty of mermaids, merman and selkies ahead! π§π½ββοΈππ #TheFaerieFolkPodcast
me desperately trying to get a new episode finished before itβs no longer the 1st π
Had a fantastic evening yesterday seeing one of my favourite podcast's live shows. @talesofbritireland.bsky.social is a fantastic storyteller - if you get the chance to see him live make sure you take it! ππ΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώ
This is still probably my favourite #folklore meme π I should start making them again it was so much fun!

No problem at all! You are always welcome to chat to me π
I feel exactly the same! I get huge amounts of anxiety before I upload every ep. But what has been helpful is starting small, being honest with people that Iβm not an expert and allowing myself the grace to learn along the way π plus donβt forget, all experts were beginners once!
Iβve officially committed to re-recording my first few podcast eps π they definitely need updating, but it has been nice to look back - I was almost too scared to start the pod in the first place! If thereβs a project youβve been thinking of starting, go for it, you can always learn along the way β¨
Glad to see the season's not quite over yet! π
My new friend, the Llandrindod Wells dragon π This beautiful copper fountain can be found in the 13 acre lake in Llandrindod Wells Lake Park, Mid Wales. The lake dates back to the Victorian spa town era when it was built as a boating lake.
β οΈ Pontypridd has been hit by devastating floods and our wonderful independent bookshop, Storyville Books, has seen much of its stock destroyed.
If youβre able to buy a book from them, this would go such a long way to help support them rebuild in the aftermath.

I hope everyone affected by Storm Bert in the UK are staying safe and getting the help they need. Iβm so heartbroken by the flooding weβve had here in Pontypridd. My sister and I are safe but keeping an eye out for any updates ππ
Canβt wait for Cardiff! π
