Sometimes, I kinda like designing spacecraft from scratch
Saturn cloud colony, a popular design which proliferated after the war for independence was won in 2185.
A more detailed diagram of my ship, sorry for all the writing
Mercury base, established in 2041 for thirty colonists.
The planet will go on to rival Earth-Luna in economic impact on the solar system by the end of the 21st century, due to easily exploited metal and energy resources.

Red states are called that because of how quickly they are receding into the past
Thatβs cool as hell. IMO that seems like mid-future, which is basically treated as far-future by most settings.
My setting would have that lvl of development in like, 2040, but the point of the setting is that shit happens faaast.
A more realistic option would be like 2090ish
Crew transporter arriving at the Moon, carrying engineers and physicists working on the Luna Particle Collider project. Travel time is one day.
2048.
In my opinion:
2020s-2200 = near future
2200-2999 = mid future
3000+ = far future
Also if you wanna look at it tech-wise:
Some small bases+tourism = near future
Colonies and settlement, widespread expansion = Mid future
Interstellar colonies+Sol is less important = far future
the brain will adjust to the black dot
but it is always there

Asteroid miner, intercepting beamed power from stations to power an Hβ fuelled thermal engine.
Operation begins in early 2042 targeting NEAs, then expands to the entire inner system when Mercury begins exporting beamed power in the 2080s.
True, this is just what adversarial networks do
however consider the cost

Nuclear crew transport returns to LEO fuel depot to collect passengers and refuel before returning to Luna, 2048.
Outer-system fusion powered tug. Constructed in 2041 and operated by the transnationals until their decline in the early 22nd century.
Cargo runs to the Mars, asteroid, and Callisto colonies.

A fantasy landscape with a group of people standing on a rocky shore, gazing up at a fleet of large, ornate airships floating in the sky. The airships are shaped like giant, iridescent bubbles with intricate latticework and sails. The sky is a vibrant mix of purple, pink, and orange, with a large moon and several smaller celestial bodies visible.
A fantasy scene depicting a bustling harbor at night. Numerous boats, lit by lanterns, are docked along a pier. The water is illuminated by a bioluminescent glow, revealing large, aquatic creatures swimming beneath the surface. The scene is bathed in a soft, blue light, creating a magical and mysterious atmosphere.
A fantastical landscape with towering rock formations. There are several large vehicles with translucent bubbles suspended in the air. Lush vegetation covers the land, and a misty valley stretches out into the distance.
A Na'vi rider sits astride a large, winged creature, soaring through a misty, mountainous landscape. The creature has a long, slender body, leathery wings, and a sharp beak. The rider is wearing traditional Na'vi clothing and is holding onto the creature's neck.
